Merrill-Stevens participated in the Mother's Day celebration at the Robert King High and Haley Sofge Towers elderly residence. They are located on the south bank of the Miami River which makes them next door neighbors to the Merrill-Stevens shipyard. Cuban coffee, prizes, local radio personalities, health screenings and entertainment were part of the Mother's Day party.
