Wow! Another great turnout for the 11th annual Miami Riverday Festival held March 24th at Jose Marti Park. This yearly event, coordinated by the Miami River Commission (the official advisory group for all public policy and projects related to the Miami River), celebrates the unique heritage of Miami’s “Working River”.
Along with other great sponsors, good food, entertainment, and River supporters, representatives of co-sponsor, Merrill-Stevens, met and spoke with people of the community who expressed their support for our expansion project and desire to create new jobs. The Merrill-Stevens banner, strategically placed above the bandstand proudly says it all “Miami River = Jobs”
How true it is and how exciting it will become!
