6 Nights - Sample Itinerary

The Flower of the Indian Ocean
Set in the Indian Ocean, the Maldives cover an area of 90,000 square km in a slender chain 372 miles south of India and 416 miles west of Sri Lanka. Our cruising area covers the North and South Malé Atoll including the capital island of Malé and the Ari Atoll.

Malé
Malé is the capital and it is here that you will find the best souvenir shops, boutiques, colourful fish and vegetable markets from which to stock up with provisions for your cruise. The best time to explore the shops is at night when the air is cooler and the Maldivians go on promenade.

Malé’s tourist attractions include the magnificent golden domed mosque of the Islamic Centre, Mulee-Aage (the former Presidential Palace), Hukuru Miskiiy (the 17th century Friday Mosque), the Sultan Park and National Museum. Malé’s Jumhooree Maidan is the public square along the northern waterfront and the social hub of the island.
